What's it all about? Lawnmower memories

My first lawn mower dates from back in the ‘60s. It was an electric mower, and I don’t mean battery powered. It was a plug in the extension cord and then proceed to drag it all over the yard. But no more messing with oil! No more smelly cans of gasoline in the garage! No jerking a cord repeatedly to get it started! No more loud noise. There was the chance of running over the cord, which would result in instant death and a scorched circle of earth 6 feet in diameter…. well, no one ever did that.
