1 champ, 2 runners-up emerge from Clash of the Titans
The Lake City wrestling team produced one champion and two runner-ups Saturday at the Clash of the Titans Invitational at Tartan High School in Oakdale.
Senior Carl Koslowski won the championship at 145, while fellow senior Denilzo Baltazar finished second at 132 as did junior Tanner Frank at 113.
As a team Lake City finished fifth in the nine team field while competing in 10 of the 14 weight classes.
“Overall as a team we had a good day,” said Coach Doug Vaith. “We placed nine of our guys, and only one did not win a match.”
