16U baseball opens season against CF
The Lake City Tigers 16 and under baseball team traveled to Cannon Falls on Saturday, July 18 and enjoyed playing on a hot and humid night. This was the first game for the 16 and under team.
The game was close through five and a half innings with the Tigers trailing by a score of 5-3. Cannon Falls scored five runs in the sixth inning to go on to defeat Lake City 10-3.
Leading the Tigers offense was C..J. Mahn with two walks and two runs scored, Nate Evans with two walks, Zach Dather with a hit, a walk, and a stolen base, and Johan Zorn with a walk and a stolen base.
