After slow start, Tiger boys rally for senior day victory

Lake City overcame a slow start to defeat La Crescent-Hokah 70-56 Saturday afternoon at Lincoln High School on senior day.

The Tigers missed their first six field goal attempts as the Lancers built a 12-2 lead after six minutes of play. Colter Hegge fueled a 14-3 run by the Tigers over a four-minute span with six points as Lake City took its first lead of the game at 16-15 with 8:11 remaining until halftime on a basket in the paint by Hegge.
