Baseball Tigers are eliminated from East Sub-section by Caledonia

The Lake City High School baseball team was eliminated from the East Sub Section 1AA tournament last Thursday as top seeded Caledonia defeated the Tigers 7-1.
Caledonia took control of the game right away in the first inning as the first three batters reached base on a hit and two walks. Two more hits, a walk and an error later, the Warriors had a big 5-0 lead, and they basically coasted to the victory as Lake City could muster only one hit for the entire game. That was by Drew Bailey, who led off the second inning with a single, but he was stranded on third.
