Baseball Tigers hold off St. Charles for the win

Lake City varsity baseball built a seven-run lead in the second inning and then held off St. Charles’s charge for an 8-6 victory on July 14 when the Tigers took on the Saints.
St. Charles scored six runs in the failed comeback on a groundout by Harper Schaber in the third, an error in the third, a walk by Bayden Ihrke in the third, and a single by Ihrke in the fifth, and an error in the sixth.
