Baseball Tigers lose to Cannon Falls

The Lake City Tigers baseball team stayed in it until the end, but Cannon Falls pulled away late in an 8-5 victory on April 23.  The game was tied at four with Cannon Falls batting in the top of the fifth when Roan Reardon doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
The Tigers lost despite out-hitting the Bombers 12-9.
In the first inning, Lake City got their offense started.  Kylar Ruffel drove in one when he singled.
In the bottom of the second inning, Lake City tied things up at four when Josh Matanich homered on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs.
