Baseball Tigers receive 2nd seed in East Sub-section 1AA

The Lake City Tiger baseball team ended their regular season with two tough losses at home.  Last Friday the Tigers suffered a 1-0 loss to Triton, then on Monday Hayfield topped Lake City 7-3 in nine innings.
But up until then Lake City was on a roll as they swept a doubleheader with Stewartville last Tuesday at Bill Kieffer Field, then they went on the road to Byron Thursday and came away with a decisive win over the Bears for their eighth straight win.
