Baseball: Tigers win 6-1 at home
The Lake City Tiger baseball team defeated Cannon Falls on Thursday 6-1.
The Bombers led off the scoring with a run in the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the second inning, Lake City tied things up at one when Johan Zorn singled on a 1-2 count, scoring Owen Meyers who had reached on a single.
Lake City pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. Owen Meyers singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs and Karch Hegge singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
