Basketball success spans generations
It’s happened again: two members of a Lake City basketball team that qualified for state are the children of Lake City basketball players who also played at state when they were in high school.
This seemingly unlikely circumstance previously occured in 2017, when Nate Heise and Reid Gastner were teammates on the Lake City Tiger boys team that qualified for the state tournament.
Nate’s father, Tony, and Reid’s father, Cris, were teammates on the 1990 Tiger boys basketball team that won the state tournament.
