Bombers slip past Tiger boys 61-59

The growing rivalry between Cannon Falls and Lake City added another chapter last Thursday as the Bombers slipped past the Tigers 61-59 at Lincoln High School in a very competitive contest that featured 11 lead changes and 10 ties.

Lake City managed just eight points over the first nine minutes as the Bombers built a 15-8 lead. Three-pointers by Gavyn Lorenson and Colter Hegge sparked the Tigers offense as the Bombers lead was trimmed to 22-20 with 5:53 to play until halftime.
