Boys basketball team end-of-season awards
The Lake City High School boys basketball team presented awards following a memorable season that included a second place finish in the Class AA state tournament.
Award winners:
• 2023-24 Hiawatha Valley League All-Conference honorees were Jaden Shones, Keegan Ryan, Hunter Lorenson.
• Defensive Player of the Year and Hustle Award winner was Jaden Shones.
• Most Improved Player winner was Rylee Fick.
• 6th Man Award winner was Josh Wohlers.
• TIGER Pride Award winner was David Oeltjen.
