Boys break 49-year-old record in Border Battle win

A 49-year old record was broken Saturday as Lake City played its best game of the season to date dominating sixth-ranked Brookfield Academy (Wis.) 99-68 in La Crosse as part of the 2020 Minnesota-Wisconsin Border Battle.
The Tigers set a school record for points in a game, surpassing the previous mark of 95 set back in 1971.  Lake City also set a school record by knocking down 20 three-point field goals, 12 of which came in the first half.
