Boys come from behind to beat Goodhue

Lake City scored the final nine points to rally past Goodhue 38-35 in a key Hiawatha Valley League Blue Division game last Thursday night. It was the first varsity game to be decided by one possession played at Lincoln High School in 1165 days, a sign March Madness is officially here.

The Tigers got off to a 9-3 lead to open the game as Goodhue started just one of four from the field. A three-pointer by Wohlers preceded a basket in the paint by Jaden Shones as the Tigers led 14-8 with 9:20 remaining until halftime.
