Boys eke out a 82-81 win over Minneapolis North

Jaden Shones scored a career-high 22 points, including the game winning free throws with 2.7 seconds remaining to lift Lake City past Minneapolis North 82-81 in an epic thriller Saturday night at Hopkins High School.

Lake City scored 57 points in the first half, leading by as many as 25 only to squander the lead in the final 10 seconds before heroics by Shones allowed the Tigers to escape with the victory.
