Boys fall in basketball showdown with Maple River

Stepping outside of conference play for the first time in two weeks, Lake City squared off with traditional power Maple River of Mapleton Saturday night at Lincoln High School in a postseason tune-up.  In a game that featured 13 lead changes and eight ties, the Eagles made a couple of big plays in the final two minutes to escape with a hard fought 74-68 victory to spoil senior night.
