Boys golfers tie Red Wing and defeat Cannon Falls

On April 8, Lake City boys golf finished with a team score of 332 (+48), tying the Red Wing Wingers. The Tigers showed depth with multiple golfers beginning the season with strong rounds.
Leading the way for Lake City were brothers Senior Portland Grobe and freshman Lane Grobe, each turned in rounds of 80 (+9). Portland’s round included 2 birdies, 9 pars, 3 bogeys, and 4 double-bogeys, while Lane’s round included 1 birdie, 9 pars, 6 bogeys, and 2 double-bogeys
