Boys lose tight battle with St. Charles
The Lake City High School boys varsity soccer team opened their season with a game against St. Charles last Thursday.
Despite the 0-2 loss, Coach Patrick Palmer states, “The team came out of the gate strong with good teamwork. They improved from lessons learned during practice. It was a strong finish, especially playing one player short against a team that beat us last season by five goals.”
The varsity soccer team is working toward continued growth as they head into their first home games this week.
