Boys soccer tallies two wins
The Lake City Tigers boys’ varsity soccer team faced Triton and Schaeffer Academy last week. Despite the impending severe weather on Tuesday, varsity was able to squeeze out a win against Triton, 2-1.
Mason White and Aidan Palmer scored for Lake City.
The team hosted Schaeffer Academy on Thursday. Lake City pulled out a win 3-0 against a highly competitive opponent.
Goals were scored by Andrew Green, Josh Renelt and Owen Meyers.
The defense and goal keeper Marco Lopez worked together seamlessly to secure the shutout.
