Bremer breaks nearly 40-year-old Minnesota State women’s basketball scoring record

Former Lake City Tiger Natalie Bremer broke the Minnesota State Mavericks women’s basketball all time scoring record on Friday, Jan. 23, as the Mavericks were hosting the Northern State Wolves.

Midway through the second quarter Bremer scored her 10th point of the game to give her 2,073 pts for her collegiate career. The previous record was held by Lisa Walter back in 1984-88.

Back on Jan 9, Natalie became only the second Maverick women’s basketball player to ever surpass the 2,000 pt mark.
