A career night for Lorenson as Tiger boys beat KoMets 75-65

Gavyn Lorenson poured in a career-high 39 points as Lake City picked up a 75-65 road victory at Kasson-Mantorville Friday night.

Grady Babcock, who did not play in the encounter between the squads in January, scored 11 early points as the KoMets raced to a 19-9 lead after eight minutes of play.

The Tigers were able to fight back in the game as Babcock was summoned to the bench with three fouls. Lorenson scored six points during a 10-2 run by the Tigers as the KoMets lead was trimmed to 21-19 with six minutes remaining in the first half.
