Comeback comes up short for Tiger boys against Lewiston-Altura
A valiant late second half comeback came up one possession short as Lewiston-Altura edged the Lake City Tiger boys basketball team 74-71 last Thursday night. The Tigers trailed by 16 with eight minutes to play before staging a furious rally with a 20-6 run.
Both teams traded baskets early as there were seven lead changes in the first five minutes of play. Josh Wohlers and Jack Meincke each hit early three-pointers as Lake City led 12-11 with 13:08 to play in the first half.
