Cross country teams take first, second

The Lake City Tiger runners ran a new course at Dover-Eyota and had another successful meet.
The varsity and junior varsity girls experienced their first race of 5,000 meters, a distance that is now the official race distance, and handled it well. They ended up finishing second in the 13-team meet behind the number six ranked Lanesboro/Fillmore Central team. They once again edged traditional girls’ power, Dover-Eyota.
