La Crescent-Hokah scored 28 unanswered points fueled by four second half Lake City turnovers as the Lancers defeated the Tigers 28-7 Friday night.
Despite a steady moderate rain falling for the first one and a half quarters of play, Lake City got off to a great start. The Tigers marched 80 yards in eight plays to open the scoring on a 28-yard touchdown run by quarterback Jaden Shones. A successful point after kick by Ethen Brunkow put the Tigers in front 7-0 with 8:30 remaining in the first quarter.
