Girls basketball edges K-W 67-61
The Lake City Tiger girls basketball team closed out last week with a road game against Goodhue on Jan. 19.
The Tigers came out strong against the Wildcats and were able to take a quick lead with some key steals and blocks by both the guards and posts. Goodhue was able to come back and take the lead from the Lake City. The Tigers went into the locker room at halftime down by three, 26-23.
The Tigers gave it all they had in the second half and battled hard but were unable to reduce the point deficit against the Wildcats and lost 63-47.
