Girls basketball opens season with win over Z-M

The Lake City Tigers kicked off the season on Nov. 25 with a win over Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Z-M) at home 56-49.
Grace Bany won the tip-off for the Tigers. Lake City had a slow start to the game but a missed shot by Z-M and a rebound by Mya Shones and a couple of quick passes down the court to Bany put the Tigers on the board and gave Lake City the spark they needed.
