Girls Basketball: Tigers win season opener 59-42
On Tuesday night the Lake City Tiger girls basketball team opened the season with a win on the road against Triton.
Lake City got off to a good start where they established an early 11 point lead. The Cobras fought back and the Tigers got into some foul trouble late in the first half. This effort had the Tigers and the Cobras at a 28-28 tie.
The second half had many similarities to the first, but the Tigers were able to stay out of foul trouble and pull away as the half progressed.
