Girls drop two games to HVL foes

The Lake City Tiger girls basketball team came out very strong to a tough Pine Island team on Tuesday, Jan. 31, with a couple of key turnovers for the girls in the first half.
The Tigers were leading Pine Island by 18 points with eight minutes to go in the half. Pine Island came up with some key baskets to keep within seven points to bring the first half to a close with a score of 31-24.
