Girls hoops season ends in Caledonia
The Lake City High School girls basketball season ended with an opening-round loss to Caledonia, 55-75.
The No. 11 seed Tigers travelled to Caledonia to take on No. 6 seed Warriors Thursday Feb. 23, for the first round of playoffs of the Section 1AA tournament.
The Tiger were unable to keep the offense going in the first half after a couple of quick three pointers from Allison Kubista.
The Warriors were hot right off the bat for offense and defense. The Tigers just could not catch up, ending the first half down 43-23.
