Girls open wrestling season with home meet
The Lake City High School girls wrestling team opened the season this past Friday hosting teams from Hastings, Rochester Mayo, East Ridge, Pine Island, Wabasha-Kellogg, Farmington, Triton, St. Charles, Stewartville, Northfield and Byron.
In all 112 wrestlers competed in the 13 weight classes. Listed below are the placements.
Varsity Division:
• 2nd place: Tahli Meyer, Tayvin Skoug
• 3rd place: Ella Weist, Re’Ale Parker
• 4th place: Bennett Seydel
• 5th place: Madyson Skifton
