Girls soccer begins season 0-4

The Lake City Girls Soccer team began their 2023 season taking on some of their most formidable opponents.
Four games in 8 days brought a share of struggles— with losses to St. Charles 1-8, Winona Cotter 0-4, Lourdes 1-9, Kasson-Mantorville 0-5, and La Crescent 1-2—but Lake City has continued to persevere.
A highlight of the early season was scoring the inaugural goal against St. Charles, who competed in the state tournament last year.
