Girls track competes at Lancer Invitational

On Friday, April 26, the Lake City Tigers girls track and field team participated in the La Crescent-Hokah Lancers Invitational. No team scores were kept for this competition.
Ashley Veronen won both hurdle races with season’s best times. In the 100 hurdles she finished with a 16.6. and in the 300 hurdles she clocked an impressive 48.13. Lilly Meincke took the top spot in the 400 meter dash (1:02.61). Mela Schmitz won the 800 meter run (2:35.41).
