Girls win over Chatfield to start busy week
The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team started a busy week of play with a win over Chatfield on Jan. 6, 69-41.
Lake City won the jump and scored first on a pass from Natalie Bremer to Mya Shones.
Ava Wallerich returned to play after being off with a injury for three weeks and she picked up where she left off with a steal and a nice pass to Lilly Meincke who drove to the basket and got fouled, sending her to the line. She connected on both free throws and the Tigers led 6-3.
