Girls wrestling places first at Hopkins

The Lake City High School girls wrestling team returned to action from the holiday break for a tournament at Hopkins High School on Saturday, Jan. 3.
Leading the way was freshman Tahli Meyer who won the championship at 124 pounds with 3 victories, two of them by pin.
Sophomore Andrea Garcia Gardea was the next highest placer taking 2nd, winning 2 of her 3 matches.
