Golf girls win at home and away
The Lake City (LC) Girls Golf team went 2/2 this past week winning both the Austin Invite on April 22 and the Lake City Invite on April 25.
At the Austin Invite, hosted by Stewartville, and held at Austin Country Club, LC fired a 347 to defeat Rochester Lourdes 358 by eleven strokes followed by PIZM 366, Mayo 366, Lanesboro 386, and Stewartville 393.
The Tigers were led by co-medalist Mattie Mears’s 79, Jordyn Dicke 88, Taylor Davidson 89, and Alayna Atkinson 91. Other scores included Julia Huettl 92 and Olivia Ohlhaber 102.
