Heise back on team as USA hockey seeks repeat gold
For the second straight year, Taylor Heise will represent the United States as a member of the Team USA competing at the 18-and-under women’s world championships.
Last year the 16-year-old from Lake City recorded two goals and an assist as she and her teammates won gold at the event in St. Catharines, Canada. This year’s tournament is from Jan. 7-14 in Zlin, Czech Republic.
The U.S. opens with a game against Russia on Jan. 7. They play Sweden on Jan. 8 and Canada on Jan. 10.
