Hot shooting Stewartville defeats Lake City boys
A hot shooting Stewartville team knocked down 15 of 27 three-pointers and raced past the Lake City High School boys basketball team 89-65 on Jan. 20.
Stewartville hit a trio of early triples as part of a 16-5 run over the first 5:21. Lake City answered back with three-pointers from Conrad Seydel and Luke Narum to draw within 21-15 with 9:28 to play until halftime.
Stewartville closed the first half on a 10-5 run, including scoring four points in the final four seconds to take a 42-27 lead at halftime.
