Junior golfers compete in PGA Junior Tour events
Two Lake City golfers, Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen and Mattie Mears, competed in a Minnesota PGA Junior Tour event at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course in River Falls, Wis. on June 18.
Windhorst-Knudsen won the age 13-15 division with an 84 while Mears shot 108 to place eighth in a field of 10 players.
On June 15, Lake City golfers, Ella Matzke and Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen, competed in a PGA Junior Tour event held at Gopher Hills Golf Course in Cannon Falls.
Matzke and Windhorst-Knudsen finished 1-2 by shooting scores of 87 and 90 respectively in the age 13-15 division.
