Knutson, Kohrs qualify for Junior Gold bowling tourney in Indiana
Two Lake City varsity bowlers are headed to Indianapolis, Ind., for the 2021 Junior Gold Championships.
The Junior Gold Championship Tournament is a national tournament for the top bowlers in the United States.
Gage Knutson (17) and Dru Kohrs (17) both of Lake City, qualified for the U18 Boys division of the tournament. Each of them earned their spot while bowling in a USBA Flight Series Tournament. Both boys also bowl for the Lake City Tigers varsity bowling team under Coach John O’Flaherty.
