Lake City girls play well in area junior tour events

Local golfers Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen, Emma Berge and Ella Matzke recently competed in junior golf events.
Jordana competed in a two day Players Tour event held at Somerby Golf Course in Byron and the Jewel Golf Course in Lake City on July 13 and 14. Unfortunately day two of the event was cancelled due to the stormy weather that day.
Windhorst-Knudsen fired an 84 to place sixth in a field of 19 of the state’s top players.
