Legion baseball team eliminated from tourney

The Lake City Legion baseball team’s season long winning streak came to an abrupt halt as Post 110 dropped two games in the double elimination West Sub-District Tournament last week. After winning their first tournament game last Monday over Hayfield to bring their overall record to 8-0, the second seeded Post 110 team lost Wednesday night 7-2 to third seed Medford and then they were eliminated Friday night 5-3 by Stewartville.
