Legion baseball team notches first round win
In one of the better baseball games played in recent years at Bill Kieffer Field Monday night the Lake City American Legion team defeated the Hayfield Legion team 3-1 in the first round of the West Sub-district One tournament. The win kept the Post 110 squad in the winner’s bracket game of the second round which was scheduled for last night (Wednesday) against Medford at Lake City.
The tournament set up this year is a little confusing, but here goes:
