Lengthy scoring drought contributes to boys’ 67-44 loss to Stewartville

An 8:22 scoring drought proved to be too much to overcome as fifth ranked Stewartville remained unbeaten on the season with a 67-44 victory at Lake City last Tuesday.

A very entertaining first seven minutes of the contest featured nine lead changes and two ties as Lake City made three of its first five field goal attempts. Keegan Ryan had seven early points and Thomas Brand hit a three-pointer as Lake City held a 13-11 lead with 11:05 to play until halftime.
