Lourdes outplays Tigers girls tennis 6-1
The Lake City High School girls Tiger tennis team faced their number one conference nemesis Sept. 3 when they hosted the Rochester Lourdes Eagles and were outplayed 6-1.
The lone Lake City point came from No. 1 doubles duo Emma Brunkow and Kaylee Muenzhuber in a two set 7-5, 7-5 battle victory.
Dorothy Holland and Molly Kennedy were defeated in two sets at No. 2, 4-6, 1-6.
At No. 3 doubles Elsie Weinrich and Olivia Morrisey were denied 3-6, 4-6.
In singles play the Eagles swept the bracket 4-0.
