Natalie Bremer, Mavericks are NCAA Div. II National Champions

Lincoln High School graduate Natalie Bremer led the Minnesota State University Mavericks women’s basketball team to an NCAA Division II National Championship over the weekend.

Friday’s 89-73 win over No. 7-ranked Texas Woman’s University in the championship game was the third straight game that Bremer, a sophomore, led the Mavericks in scoring.

She scored 27 in the championship and a total of 70 points in the three games beginning with the Elite Eight. She also recorded 17 rebounds and 11 steals over that stretch.
