Natalie Bremer scores 2,000th point
On Dec. 21, Natalie Bremer accomplished something that only one other Lake City Tiger basketball player - boy or girl - has done.
In the second half of the home game against Zumbrota-Mazeppa that night, the senior drained a three-point shot from the corner to score her 2,000th point.
Nathan Heise is Lake City’s only other player with more than 2,000 career points. His career total of 2,307 is the most of any boys player for Lake City.
Bremer became the girls all-time leading scorer last season, surpassing Madi Green’s career total.
