Nordic skiers compete in Winona
Lake City Nordic skied in the Winona Nordic ski invitational on Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Mary’s University. The seven team invitational included Minneapolis Washburn, Coon Rapids, Red Wing, Chippewa Valley, Winona, Rochester, and Lake City.
Lake City Nordic joined the WNSL (Wisconsin Nordic Ski League) and will participate in the guest class in select races this year. About a dozen of Lake City’s 40-member team have decided to enhance their training and explore races this year.
