Over the rainbow: Section champion dancers prepare for state
The Lake City High School dance team is bound for state after winning the Section 1A meet Feb. 11 in Eyota.
“We have been working really hard at practices getting ready for sections. And sections day, it showed. They put it all on the dance floor with no regrets. The energy was incredible,” Lake City Coach Ashley Otterson said.
Contributing to that energy were members of the team’s fanbase, who came to the meet wearing costumes inspired by the team’s musical accompaniment, “The Wonderful Oz.”
