Shones scores 25 in Tiger boys’ victory over K-M

Jaden Shones poured in a season-high 25 points on an efficient 11 of 13 shooting as Lake City defeated Kasson-Mantorville 66-53 Friday night at Lincoln High School.

The Tigers led from start to finish and opened the game with a 7-2 lead after three minutes to prompt a KoMets timeout. A pair of three-pointers by Kasson-Mantorville chipped into the Tigers lead which was 14-12 midway through the first half before Lake City would go on a 16-5 run to take control.
