Sibley East defeats resilient Tigers
The Lake City Tigers baseball team fought back after falling down by five funs in the fourth inning against Sibley East in the invitational April 6.
The comeback for the Tigers fell just short thought, in a 7-5 defeat. The Tigers scored three runs in the failed comeback on a double by Justin Wohlers and a groundout by Atticus Heise.
In the first inning, Sibley East got their offense started. Lucas Dose singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The Tigers knotted the game up at two in the top of the third inning.
